Well it's a completely different game, they rebuilt it from scratch. Also, it is IP blocked from any non SEA country. Probably proxy's with lag.

I'm currently in North America and the game runs smoothly for me? There isn't a NA server setup yet but most of the playerbase speaks English anyways.

I never really caught onto Ragnarok or actually liked it so I can't compare or contrast them very well, but Ragnarok 2 is just a basic, generic MMO. There's an item shop with much needed items that require IRL currency, the combat is mostly skill based, quests are pretty straight forward and repetitive. One thing that really bugs me is the poor translations (Well, it's not an English server but still) and the annoying narrators voice that speaks in.. honestly I have no idea what language. Also, the graphics are 3D but very childish and if I recall correctly, the mobs are the exact same ones from RO.
