Those are the only real MMO's with permadeath that I know of. If you dont mind a room based game *plays like a MMO though* then check out DayZ.
Face of Mankind doesn't have perma death, and neither does Eve Online?

Well, if you say so. Hard to argue with that logic.

Ah, yeah. I had forgotten about that in FoM. But do they have that in Eve? o.0 I thought you had unlimited clones in Eve.

If more than 100 people connect to a server and play together on that server it's an MMO, whether it's lobby based, instanced or open world doesn't matter on that aspect. Saying room based isn't MMO is like saying open world isn't MMO if you don't see more than 3 other players on one screen at the same time (hi Allods Online).

In eve the only real way of perma death is to lose all your ships and cash and even when you lose your last ship you get a free one, now this can be helpfull early on but when you lose a ship worth 1 billion isk and they give you a ship worth 50k isk you cant do nothing with it unless you want to slowly build up and start doing level 1 missions again until you can re-afford your 1 billion isk ship, so not really a perma death thing but it could make you quit the game and that is perma death.

People basically think though that Permadeath is Permadeath only if it's forced upon you though, which I've never understood. `The result is the same be it manual or auto. The lack of choice in the matter apparently makes thing harder, but telling people they have a choice in that they can just delete their data themselves probably sounds crazy to people, even though that's ironically what they ask for the game to do for them.

*shrug* Being forced to live by a rule is apparently harder than choosing to do so.
