I would have to go with either Phantasy Star 2 or Suikoden I think. I'm not really sure "re-create" would be the best term for what I would do to them though, I would mostly just love to spruce them up with a fresh coat of paint and release them back into the world again.

I was actually thinking of like a Ragnarok Online remake. Make the game a lot more action paced, somewhat like Tera meets Diablo, but of course keep the same isometric camera angle and drop system, but with huge groups of mobs everywhere. Skills where you could be a wizard and blast a group of enemies but send yourself flying back so you can launch meteors in a huge aoe, or a knight where you can close gaps easily and have a ton of frontal aoe cleave damage and get stronger each blow you take, or a ranger that has amazing range and CC to control the flow of battle.

well jeah the /stick trains were pretty meh, but the melee system itself was pretty good in my oppinion. chains, reactionals and positionals + when you hit a mage you interrupted his casting.

RuneScape.
I loved RuneScape growing up, was very immersive for me. It grew dull for me after I played more contemporary games. It began to feel... dated... But I like the idea of having so many things to do in RuneScape. The Elder Scrolls series is doing it right. I'd love to see RuneScape recreated as The Elder Scrolls. (I'm looking forward to The Elder Scrolls Online!)
