This is the first time i've heard about this game, and it looks pretty cool. It's a shame that it's shutting down already though.

Exact same thing I said when I heard about it shutting down a week ago.

This is more or less a good thing. I got to play it last year and found it was a complete waste of time and computer memory. I'de like to quote the most respectable reviewer who shares my view i can, Total Bisquit, in saying, " It was like mmo PVP with all of the MMO taken out of it." It was intensly boring and the combat was subpar at best. It felt like an exploitation of the warhammer franchies in the worst way, so much potential squandered.

If they made WAR f2p I would probably waste more money in the cash shop than on an any subscription model.

the game had many flaws , target base combat and 3 teams matches that's means more people just for 1 match and more chances of getting a troll or a DC player etc... i was wondering a few weeks back how is this game still up

I especially love that part, telling people to spend real money in the cash shop, and then telling them in the FAQ we're not going to give you back your money!

I am not sure, but I am guessing he means that everything in the cash shop is currently free?

    Edit: Maybe not.

They're keeping the shop open because they don't offer refunds for the gems someone may have already purchased. They're letting players "purchase" the remaining heroes using the gems they already have. Its a way to crap on its customers for sure. But hey its EA, you would expect that.

No they were advertising the beta for a very long time just on very few sites. TB did a WTF is for it last year. I've had the misfortune of being in the beta for it since the first week of closed beta and it's gotten worse and worse with each beta. It looks interesting but it's literally the worst arena based game I've ever played. It's supposed to be a tactical action based 3 team based game but all it ends up being is a huge steaming pile of shit developed for the Warhammer franchise. The worst part is that all the development team from WAR was pulled from the MMO in order to make this piece of dogshit. My final words? Good motherfucking riddance, I hope the developers get fired for trying to milk a franchise this hard.

Meh the fact that it was only 5 abilities with GW2 feeling combat made it pretty boring not suprised to see it go, now if only they would attempt to go F2P on WAR.

It was stupid to be put in the moba list in the first place. It plays nothing like one and is more like a battle arena like Bloodline Champions.

"Special Pricing", oh the freakin' gall. I played it for a while and it was okay during beta, but after release there were too many balance issues and premades capitalizing on them made the game a pointless endeavor for me in the end.

Make WAR F2P, add the other four racial cities, and mod the profit build to be similar to Turbines... profit and they are able to continue development.
