They did happen to bring back a way to buy subs just from playing the game though (People sell something called Krono, which is basically a month sub that can be traded for in game currency). They also removed the currency limit on accounts.

I was wanting something F2P with low specs that was a good standard mmorpg, so I'ma login to my old EQ2 account and see what I think.
Though I AM curious, as someone who doesn't play LOTRO despite the fact that it'd be ideal for me as a PVEr for the stubborn reason that I want more auction house and chatting options as a F2Per...what are the F2P options in EQ2 for auction house and chatting?

If you old account was subbed at any point it is now silver. There is no chat restriction all channels are available, I believe it's the same for f2pers, but they may have a mail restriction.

I'm not sure why but I absolutely cannot figure out how to get rid of a bag and replace it with a better one that's in my inventory!
It's driving me insane! >.<
I just want to unequip- wait, unequip...(goes to character equipment, sees the bags there so she can upequip them and equip her better ones)

I seriously just wasted three hours THREE HOURS just standing there at level 2 trying to figure out why I couldn't change my bags!
I'm going to go cry in a corner if anybody needs me....
