Ghosts n Goblins as an online game!?

As usual, no English server has been announced, with Ghosts ‘n Goblins Online only bound for China at this point of time under Shanda Games.

Hmm. No news of an English publisher? I am still waiting for Viva Fighter and Closers Online. Guess I could play Dragon Saga or Grand Chase or Elsword or Fists of Fu or Battle of Destiny or Dungeon Fighter or Crystal Conquest in the meantime.

Ghost & Goblins was on the original Nintendo, Super Ghost & Goblins was the SNES version.

it was actually an arcade game before it was an nes game, if you're going to try and spout random facts about the game that nobody really cares about at least be right about it

Just saw some screenshots but haven't searched for videos. The game play looks like dragon saga and it is a good thing they made it to a side scroller sing GnG has always been that way.

That's the issue. Still unsure who will pick it up for an English translation.

Not really, they had the beta in Korea back in 2010(with another fairly recently) so I don't think getting an English publisher and closed beta here would be impossible by late 2013

Yep it's an old game alright. I really want to see them try to modernize this. Not to offend those who are big fans of the original, but let's see what they'll be able to pull off with this project.

Honestly, I don't feel offended seeing the "modernize" version of Ghosts N Goblins. I think it really looks cool. I just think, a lot of people can't be pleased.

This game needs to come out now. There seems to be a rather large pile of games I'm waiting for this year, I don't think I've been looking forward to so many in years. Hopefully at least some of them turn out well :P

Unless there's a PSvita version coming out with cross-platform gaming, Capcom probably has no intention of ever taking on the US market with their MMORPG's. And they probably have no intention of ever letting another company publish it.
