I was honestly looking forward to playing RO2 and I think I overhyped it in my mind. In the end it felt pretty ordinary for a game thats meant to be a sequel to one of my favorite mmo's ever.
I would say I enjoyed Rose alot more than I ever did in RO2 but then again I only played RO2 until lvl 20 or so before I gave up.
Rose is honestly a great game just needs more content.

Only the KR version though. the EN version has thousands of bugs not fixed that the KR version has fixed.

In terms of stage presence ROSE had far more impact than to RO2. The games themselves are similar in terms of how one walks a path be it RO2 had a wealth of content ready to be used... Just executed poorly. ROSE, when I played it, was a fresh idea on the table which although couldn't tear me away from RO played relatively well along with putting asumptions as to RO2.
Though I must mention that I personally hate how RO2's growtgh path is severely linear, much like how RO1 is going. That sense of freedom and adventure got completely stripped from it for this 'turd' they attempt to call a sequel.
Not the greatest fan of Mabinogi, thank Nexon and IP blocks for that, but it may be the last real eastern game that has that sense of adventure.

Both are good games imo but Rose is still my bet. except for the nostalgia, i like the graphics better in rose, but ofcourse, controls are better in RO2

currently playing RO2 and I'm on AFK..
I hate the control on both games.. but I think I still prefer ROSE over RO2.. I feel like stopping (on RO2) already.
