Crytek Intent On Buying Darksiders IP

So bit late to the news, but recently Crytek (the guys behind Far Cry, Crysis, and the CryEngine) has stated that they intend to bid on the Darksiders IP at the THQ auction in April. Dunno if Platinum Games is also going to be there.

Overall always glad to see that the series will hopefully live on. While not what I would call a AAA uber-awesome amazing series, it's still one I'd hate to see perish amidst THQ's demise.

If they do, maybe they could remake it for PC, because the console-to-PC port was not all that good.

nothing about this franchise excites me :/, it just looks like poor man's Warhammer mixed with poor man's Zelda with a bit of poor man's God of War thrown in for good measure.
