They just remind me of the "Evony" ads from way back when. Those were hilarious because they tried to sexualize a RTS game apparently.

I'd say it's less about the company being desperate and more about the company being completely out of touch, just like the vast majority of these suit-and-tie corporate-machine-produced games polluting the market these days.

The most hilarious advertisement in the rotation for this terribad Scarlet Blade game, though, has got to be the one that calls it the "MOST ANTICIPATED MMO OF 2013".

You should see the ones I heard the sales team blocked. These are softcore in comparison. Also school-safe forums are overrated.
