Not many. Even DoMo, the developer abandoned it, still had new content it was supposed to receive before abandoned. So even if a developer has no updates for it, it likely isn't a final product.

Only plays Magic DPS Classes, Healers and Machinist/Engineers.
    Playing MMO: FFXIV (Balmung)
Waiting On: FFXV, KH3, Tree of Savior, RE:FFVII · Saving For: New Computer

A true MMORPG will have no ending to experience. A true MMORPG is everlasting and ever changing. The only ending to an MMORPG is when the game itself dies... in one form or another.

Lots of MMORPG's have an "ending" to the main story line... if there is one, but there tends to be in most mmos. However, there will never be a true ending or the game will fail. Lots of people grind through content in a month or so, if that was the end, they would just quit and no money for that company.

in RO2 it's like possible to meet the end game since
the level cap is still at 50 and you can accomplish that
in just more than 1 month even when completing quests
but of course once they have a new update then it's
going to be a new journey for you

the reason why mmos dont have an "ending" is that they are not single player games, meaning they are meant to be played longer than the regular 10-40 hours one spends on a single player game (how else would they get the funds to pay for upkeep and staff salaries).

but as they said before.... most mmos have a main storyline that you can complete at your own leisure, when you do complete the storyline missions the "end game contents" kicks in... its basically the only thing that would keep people interested in the game. Additional expansions/conent updates are there to ensure the storyline continues on and is partially the reason why there is no final END to beat.

well.. a proper RvR Pvp mmo will have no ending. the fighting goes on forever.

so for example in Champions of Regnum, the ultimate objective is to capture all the gems from enemies' terrirotires and then make a dragon wish for the realm. But then after that the entire map resets - like a magical world. so the story goes on forever.

Defiance apparently, when you reach the end of the main questline, you are given the option to do them all over again. So maybe it has an ending. The level cap for Defiance is insanely high though. (IE: each 100 levels is pretty much five to ten levels in comparison to normal MMORPGs. But there are over 4000 power levels.)
