There is nothing in the NDA that says you cannot say you're in the Beta. The NDA for WildStar more or less states that you cannot post any images, video, or descriptions of the game.

There was possibly a dev who may have stated otherwise, but I wouldn't claim that I confirm to know this for sure.

The way I'm going to handle it, if there is an NDA and it does say that you can't even state if you're in the beta, then I'm treating "I cannot confirm (X Y Z)" as the obvious "I'm in the beta but I'm gonna pretend to not be!" sign that it is.

And in these cases, the mod is able to exercise their own judgement on the matter. Especially a mod who has a past history of going crazy when it comes to NDA breaking. It would be a shame for someone to try and troll in such a manner, knowing fully well what said mod usually does with this kind of thing.

Which of course means that the only way to prove you aren't breaking the NDA is to show that there is indeed no mention of not being able to say you're in beta within said NDA, which is only accessible to those currently in the beta (to the best of my knowledge. I actually searched for the NDA and found nothing). That there creates an issue, because if you ARE in the beta, and therefore have access to the NDA, you cannot prove anything if there IS a clause saying you can't say you're in the beta without breaking the NDA in the first place.

So then, what happens in the end? You get to derail a topic by baiting a moderator that you know is prone to target this kind of stuff with the possibility of getting a warning/infraction out of it. For what? The satisfaction of being able to post a MLP picture to show you "won"?

I, for one, don't see the logic there, even troll logic.
