nope. they be use that as a DLC


but you can get the expanions if you use Raptr stay online for 16 hours

well you do if you want to get experience rank on raptr just need to client be open and use netblancer to block bandwith it use the raptr won't know till you exit out game after you get 16 hour you get the reward

well rift will log you out after a certain period of time or inactivity so i doubt you can stay logged in for 16 hours unless you play part of the time. i did the raptr thing and got all the rewards but then figured why play for 30 days when after that i can't play the char i worked so hard on so on june 12th when it foes f2p i will re download and play again.

loved the game, wonder if they fixed cleric.. wow theyre were just like PL in dota..

i say you only need to keep the client open it dont need to be really be online it still countdown the game time lol

as far as i know it won't count time cause the client is open. it counts time when you are logged in. clerics are still played but they aren't top anymore. its mages and rogues now.

my method is working i have client open and it not connect to the internet the Raptr only detect the program is open Not the internet that hook to it and i have it in character selection screen

World of warcraft announced the loss of 1.5 Million subs this month, now with Rift going free WoW is in trouble. Can WoW compete with this? I personally will not be going back to WoW with rift free, as rift is basically WoW 2.0. Is it a wow clone? Yes. But its more fun, class system is amazing.

really it's brings nothing new to mmos. yes the soul system is cool but imo leveling is really slow and there really is not a lot holding you in.

Sadly for me learning it was going F2P had the opposite effect ._. I was considering playing it with a friend but now ... eh... not so sure anymore..

p2p metod dead you need player to keep monthly fee going if you cant get the player then your not making money

The F2P model for RIFT is very similar to TERA.. In fact.. It's almost a replica, except for the selling gears and ofc the expansion classes. That's good.. The TERA F2P model is very fair..

I'm looking forward to giving RIFT an in depth try. I miss playing games with lots of available add-ons. ^^

That's good news to me, if it's not "f2p" like swtor is (and can't expect f2p mmorpgs' cash shops to be purely cosmetic like b2p games)
Only concern is if it'll be locked out against SEA region

The main issue is that a ton of the p2p games that have been released are at b2p quality at best. I'd say thats the better choice if you don't want release a f2p game, on the other hand if you add a cash shop with b2p, unless it's completely cosmetic you'll be shooting yourself in the foot.

Yes but cash shops allow rich people to spend as much as they want. And p2p is easier to market to new players than b2p because you can have freemium/trial content and don't have to greenlight on Steam or make a deal with retail stores (who probably won't buy from you unless you are Blizzard).

if you are planning on playing in june and want the expansion for free go see if raptr is still running the promotion cause if so you can get a free copy of the game/expansion.

It's funny because I already hit experienced last year, and should qualify for the game, etc. yet Raptr is saying I need 3 more hours to hit experienced. I wonder what their deal is!

I was a subscriber since I think most F2P stuff is an over priced cash grab no matter the game, but with 2.1 they added a new species and customization that were supposed to be affordable with the monthly cartel coin amount given and well.... its not.

The Only thing i Dislike in Rift is the User Interface( looks like a SCI FI ui ) , they should change that at F2P launch ;S

you could probably find a mod to change UI if it's really that huge of a deal.
