All of this is true, yet the a-hole behind Camelot Unchained thinks F2P will fail in a couple years, and things will go back to the way they were with P2P games. It's almost like he thinks his P2P game will be the god of all P2Ps to 'revive' the P2P genre. People like him are counter-productive, and counter-moving forward.

Pyromancer does okay with harbringer, but it's more single target based. It's more potent to go with something that has a strong AoE nuke that doesn't need a serious amount of points to achieve and is on a rather low cooldown. I prefer stormcaller as it has a six target AoE nuke, a knockback disengage (for PvP useage), and single target ice attack.

I think the pricing doesn't look all that bad 2400 for 30 days, meaning $15 is roughly equivalent to 2400 cash shop currency. Not too pricey imo.

Out of all the mmo's I have played Rift gives the second most satisfaction from theorycrafting (first is PoE, I don't think that will change). Hardcore theorycrafters will love this game. Theorycrafting doesn't end with soul trees and planar attuments, you can even min/max your macros. Also, you can min/max your UI like in WoW and Warhammer due to the ui addons available.
I'm disappointed that ever since Open Beta (when I last played) they have reduced the difficulty of dungeons by a considerable amount. Bosses that would have taken 20 mins to kill now take like 5 mins.

EVERYONE on the rift forums are losing their shiz about the F2P translation! I mean, if i had a sudden lapse of logic or was a complete idiot and purchased a one year subscription, i'de be pretty unhappy too, but seriously.

Storm Legion is just the expansion, which unlocks 4 additional souls to use.

Incorrect.
f2p players will have:
- fewer specs unlocked (probably 2. Speculation. More can be bought)
- 2 Character Slots unlocked (more can be bought)
- Fewer bag slots (only 2. Confirmed. More can be bought)
Current owners (full game, not trial. No expansion required) will have all bag slots unlocked as they have right now. They will probably keep all the spec slots they have unlocked through ingame currency, either that or they will have all specs unlocked. They also get all the character slots.
