But at the rate of how boring current free to play MMOs are becoming to me personally, I feel I'm lacking something. My brother was apparently addicted to this game for a few years and I thought I need a new MMO drug, how would this one stack up for someone who doesn't care about getting the best possible equips, following online skill builds, and likes adventuring to new places, etc.


Is it worth it? The game certainly has it's age, but does it have any life left in it?

If grinding mobs is your definition of fun then go ahead, otherwise avoid it. The overall atmosphere of the game and the community is great though.

id say you have a good chance of catching up within a month

i stoped playing becuase it takes ALOT of time to do anything in game too much effort to quit in a few months for ffxiv.
