Default Looking for "Mysterious" Adventure / Puzzler games

In the shadows of Portal, Portal 2, Cave Story, etc. On Epic scales and stories like them and Little Inferno and whatnot. I want more mysterious puzzlers that have stories as they unfold and whatnot.

I've already played Q.U.B.E. and that one square enix portal wannabe.

Only plays Magic DPS Classes, Healers and Machinist/Engineers.
    Playing MMO: FFXIV (Balmung)
Waiting On: FFXV, KH3, Tree of Savior, RE:FFVII · Saving For: New Computer

Virtue's last reward. This game literally gave me headaches... You need a ps vita, though.

If pure adventure games with mystery are fine then:

Trilby Adventure series (in correct order):
    http://www.fullyramblomatic.com/5days/
    http://www.fullyramblomatic.com/7days/
    http://www.fullyramblomatic.com/notes/
    http://www.fullyramblomatic.com/6days/

There are also the games form Orchard-L: "City of Dreams" and "Missing", but the websites were you can get them from are currently down or block access. =/

And then there are all those PC retail adventure games you can buy for cheap like Still Life.

Nah most of the stuff you have to memorize is just timings. The main game is pretty fair with the platforming but there is an optional secret area that is pretty challenging. Knytt has always focused more on exploration and ambiance.

Closure was very good and fun, but you kinda have to piece together a "story" on your own.

Trace Memory for the DS was pretty good. I'm sure they have emulators for that out now if you don't have one.

I've got Knitt Underground but haven't tried it yet. I see you mentioned "Cave Story", is that different from "The Cave"? Because that was good too.
