Ps4 might just dominate the next generation console market.

Was just scrolling through my facebook and then I saw this:

“It will be great to play PS4 games on PS Vita” said a follower of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studio boss Shuhei Yoshida on Twitter; He responds, “Yes, it’s true unless the game requires specific hardware like the camera.”

A trusted PS4 developer informed Digital Foundry that Sony has mandated the PS Vita be able to play any PS4 games, except the games that require the use of the bundled PS4 eye camera.

They are giving users the ability to play almost any PS4 game whenever they want, anywhere they go. If this strategy is successful, it is going to boost sales for the PS Vita, which once had problems with commercial success. Much like the Wii U GamePad, Sony hopes the handheld offers a better off-TV play making it more useful for gaming anywhere.

With this interesting new feature, would you buy the PS Vita?

If it really is going to work like this, then the people that are getting the ps4 will most likely get a vita to, and the other way around. Though, I do doubt the "anywhere you like" part. It might even bring over some xbox fanboys that far to just get a ps4.

If they're taking this route, I bet we will see a ps4/v bundle. Wouldn't make sense not to offer the option.

I think it works the same way as that program I pm'd you about last time. Guessing it would just stream the ps4 game on it, but you'll be required to have your TV on as well. I do know that the vita is capable of ps3 graphics and little to none fps drops (look at atelier totori and atelier meruru will release on it to).

Microsoft really screwed up, though. Not just a console? Being able to watch blue ray movies would be obvious, but the TV thing is completely useless. Also it looks awful. It's to big, so I'm guessing it will make a shit ton of noise like the xbox 360...

Probably the touch pad in the back. You can use it for the psx classics, so why would it work with those games?

I'll admit that this is a cool feature, but it honestly wouldn't make me buy a Vita (if I didn't already own one) just so I could use the feature in conjunction with PS4 titles. Chances are though, the Wii U is going to shine and the PS4 will do great once it gets some games out.

I'm waiting for Nintendo to announce that they're dropping the Wii U to $200 and I'll go buy one that day.
