Default Today is the day. - Marvel Heroes!

Gazillion is launching MarvelHeroes. I was already in for about 15 mins but they had to do an emergency maint cause there rested exp was broken and wouldnt go down at all. So people was getting free double exp permanently. So if anyone wants to come play this game with me. Add Hyperkill. I'll be on pretty much all day. Hope to see some people in game.

He means that comic book fans will pay a lot more for the cash shop than normal players that just want to play the game but have no interest in the comics or the characters back-story .

being a DC fan and not much of a Diablo player (Played the Original) I find this game a bit on the boring side, nonetheless I totally forgot it's Launching today, so gonna play some!

Isn't that...the point though? Why would you make a game based on a major IP to specifically appeal to that fanbase be something that interests "people who don't care for the comics or the characters"? If they wanted to do that, they would have just made another diablo clone. Took the whole marvel thing out, since they're afraid that people who don't give a damn about marvel or it's characters won't like the game. /endsarcasm.

It's a cash grab to sucker in comic book fans with shitty dungeon crawler based gameplay and fyi, I played in two beta weekends before I got tired of the shitty gameplay. I gave it to an Onrpger afterwards since I sure as hell wouldn't touch the game, not even with a 10 foot stick.

Found a bug which could possibly have dire consequences if it proves that it can be exploited past the point where I am.

Basically, when you finish the prologue you are teleported to the Avengers Tower. But when you go to the guy that offers to warp to specific chapters, they ask are you sure you want to continue because all of your progress will be wiped/reset. Just click yes and you teleport yourself to Avengers Tower in chapter 1 again, the same spot.

All the quests you've done are reset but all the rewards you got before you reset are kept, including character exp.

Maybe there are no epic quest rewards and the game is supposed to work that way as way to grind by resetting quests. But if this can be done with higher chapters where some quest rewards give really good stuff, it will get nasty.

EDIT: Can't even play any further because the game refuses to download faster than 200 KB/s and even though it's 73% done for some completely idiotic reason I can't start my first mission because the files are still streaming. **** logic.

What makes you think thats a bug lol. This is just a way to replay everything again. Certain quests rewards you wont get, like prologue free hero.

I recently installed this game (few days ago), and its pretty neat. Unlike DC Universe, you cant create your own hero but the game itself is pretty solid. Wuv the story-line / cut-scenes.

The grind / questing isn't too bad either. Overall I rate this game a *drum-roll*...

    7 out of 10!
