Guy parked outside my house 4 nights now

I know onprg isnt the place to post this but you guys are the ones I have spoken with for 6 years now.

So I was in the military and got out of this town for 4 years, I left military and now we live back in hempstead because we got a free house by my wifes father whom is the judge.

our house is out by the main road which makes me feel better but we have the most idiotic police force ever and we have a lot of high value stuff at our house.

So past 5 nights their has been a guy in a silver convertible mustang parked on side of curb directly across from my house about 50 feet away.

Any suggestions on my course of action? I normally wouldnt be too concerned cause it could be kids screwing around but 3 of those nights I have been able to see a guy in it alone and he is their from 11-11:30 each night.

There doesn't seem to be anything you can personally do besides reporting it as suspicious activity to your local police.

Maybe it's just a person who doesn't know where to park? I recall a friend of mines having the same issue. She thought it was an ex stalking her, but it turned out to be a visitor of their neighbors who just parked where ever lol.

I'm sure even the dumbest of thieves wouldn't reveal themselves to a potential target. They'd more likely drive by your house stalking for a few days. Learning how many cars are there and knowing when you're gone. Not just deliberately make themselves known.
