    Default Scary movies...

that don't involve ghosts and demons and monsters and zombies stuff, just real people and environments. You know, nothing supernatural. Serial killers and wolves and kidnappers and what-not. Know of any good ones? I'm thinking along the lines of Silence of the Lambs, Psycho, Saw, No Country for Old Men. Also preferably movies that are at least kind of smart. Not just a group of attractive college kids go to a cabin somewhere and get hunted by a spooky mask guy. Thanks

You can also rewatch seven, lol.

The usual suspects is also good, with a brilliant Kevin Spacey.

8mm as the one of the very few films that Nicolas Cage stars that can be taken serious imo, is also a candidate.

David Lynch films are good if you're looking for films that provide a really creepy atmosphere: Eraserhead, Blue Velvet, Lost Highway, Mulholland Dr., Inland Empire...

    EDIT:

This film is also pretty ****ed up, legit goosebumps thinking about it.

I don't like those South Korean thrillers. They're always pointlessly beating up cute girls, misogynist scum!

Also If you've never seen Old Boy, I highly recommend it.

While we're on the subject of gritty action packed asian movies, "The Man from Nowhere" is also definitely worth a watch.
