So I started playing through hl2 again, and even with the older graphics, it is so gripping!

Eh, I liked the Xbox port. At least it had achievements. No trophy support for orange box? I like HL2 more than the next guy but damn, IDK if its worth playing a 15th time for the sake of playing it.

I'm hoping if and when they ever get around to releasing HL3 they'll do an HD remake of the original and 2 (+episodes) bundled together.

Yeah, I'll be on PS6 by then :/

ravenholm wasn't scary, having a mutant from system shock two creeping up on you while you're looting and yelling in your ear "I'm Sorry!"
    that, is terror.

Not scary, gripping, and yes system shock 1 & 2 freaked me the **** out on my first playthrough. And yes doom will always be great!
