Only if you're doing it to someone else that has done nothing to you.
So if someone is doing something harmful towards you, you can press charges.

Im talking " Ill **** you up" " Ill hurt you" type of stuff. It's considered harassment/threat. Just didnt know, if I let him know I would press charges if he say one more thing, would be considered blackmail. Or if it's better to just not say anything about pressing charges if he says one more thing.

On a serious note. Blackmailing is exploiting someones weakness to make use of it. For example you have a shit ton of nudes from a girl, and you force her to have sex with you, or else you'll throw them on the internet. (Example on how jaydude is getting some)
