The guy is selling it for $700 currently, here's the specs:

    Cooler Master HAF 922 -> Case
    AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition Thuban 3.7GHZ (overclocked) -> Processor
    Zalman 110mm LED 2 Ball CPU Cooler -> Processor Cooling Unit
    ASUS Crosshair IV Formula AM3 AMD 890FX ->Motherboard
    Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4G 240-PIN DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) ->Memory
    Sapphire Radeon HD6870 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 with Eyefinity -> Graphics Card
    Western Digital VelociRaptor 300GB 10,000 RPM -> Primary Hard Drive
    Western Digital Green 1.5TB 7,200 RPM -> Secondary Hard Drive
    ASUS 24X DVD Burner with Lightscribe -> Optical Drive
    Corsair Enthusiast Series 850W Crossfire Certified -> Power Supply
    I haven't done the math in my head. The system is more or less underpriced, But it's outdated.
    It's by no means bad, it's a good rig. But it's still outdated.
    Right now that rig would cost 850+, and will probably run anything with max settings on the F2P market.
    Only problem I see with it, is that it's a computer and you're getting it used. It's just doesn't feel right to do something like that.

    Not a bad system. I just have some points I want to ask you about.

    PSU:
    Why a 850w? It uses to much energy for this sytem, and even if you're planning to crossfire eventually a 700w is good enough. If you just go with a 650w-700w, you could use the money difference to spend something extra on the GPU.

    Cooling:
    Do you want to get your system as silent as possible? Why did you choose for this one?

    HDD:
    If you already have a 1.5TB hdd, why go with a 2nd one thats 300gb? Why not get rid of the 300gb hdd and spend that money on a 120gb kingston SSD to put your OS on?

    i wud support snowbunzz's and other people's suggestions in this thread.

    try to avoid buying a second hand computer because they may have subtle unique setups and may have damaged components which do not appear for some hours.

    the best thing you can do is read up on cpus, read up on memory, read up on hdds and buy/build your own new one. then you know what you are getting and know when something is working well or not working well.

    those prices they r citing for 2nd hand pcs seem way too expensive with glitzy named components for your needs. focus on what is technically required before seeking a brand name.

    So I found one last computer, this one has a significant upgrade in GHz but the graphics card is 1 tier down; however, it's only $830. Here's the link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16883258023

    Between SnowBunz suggestion and this one, which is more 'bang for my buck'? If her suggestion is slightly better, is it worth the extra money or is this one fine?
