    Default dat steam

Alright boys and girls. Oister has a computer. Whee. It's terrible. Like, probably the worst one at onrpg. It has a 36 gig hard drive Lmao.

I'm wondering if there are any good steam games I could run on xp. I likes me some indie games and I likes me some achievements. Does steam have achievements?

I should be upgrading substantially sometime in August, but I really need something to do this weekend.

Oh, and on the cheap of course.

Do humble bundles work with steam? Forgive my ignorance I'm a console boy.

    Thanks.

I'm 99% sure my phone is more powerful than this pc lol. I have a buddy coming back from the army who is supposed to sell me his 08 pc. Still kinda old but he said it ran everything at max settings when he built it. So I'm hoping most stuff at minmum settings isn't out of the question.

Rome Total War (a sorta vaguely not really civilizatiion-esquie world map where you manage an empire and a tactical battleground portion where you control an army in real time with pausing. one of my favourite games of all time probably. also probably the easiest game of its kind to learn.)

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II might as well be a pc exclusive because only the pc version has the mod that fixes it

Kerbal Space Program (build spaceships to fly into space. still in early access beta though)

Europa Universalis III (like rome total war without the tactical portion and a much, much improved world map portion? kinda? you can play with Zombie and I :3. it's made by the Crusader Kings II people)

Darkest Hour: A Hearts of Iron Game (same kind of game as Europa Universalis, except set in the World Wars. again, you can play with Zombie and myself and we'll explain it, as the tutorials aren't so great)

I'll try to think of more pc exclusive neat games

fps id say half life trilogy (original)

rts i reckon the old dawn of war games, cheap and fun. better than C&C

rpg i reckon Bastion would be good for you. funny, unique, good artwork, very addictive. also cheap and low gfx req.

hotline miami is a 100% yes which i think you would love with its 16bit gfx and oldskool fun violence. kinda repetitive but fun tho

also, cargo commander.... gets slated alot but i love this little game. and it has country music and coffee!! think minecraft in space but with 3d platform.

btw, I don't recommend minecraft. it lags the shit out of my computer with the mods that the onrpg community runs. will probably run fine on yr '08 pc though.

also, didn't know that bunzz. I've only had a little bit of experience with ksp though.

It's mostly when you build ridiculous large spaceships and/or space stations. Scott Manley's KSP videos are often sped up 3-4x due to the ridiculous lag.

I should update this but all my effort went into writing this lousy excuse.
