-Special Request- medieval anime

I'm looking for a game of thrones like anime. I would prefer it to have English voice over and not just English dubs.
Although i would still watch a English dubbed anime if its good enough. The reason im hitting yall up is my boy used to always recommend anime show/movies to me. Now that he isn't around its like a stab in the dark every time i was the first episode of any anime and i usually lose interest.

I would like to name the last anime i watched with my buddy but i forgot the name. Its a popular one so it could most likely be guessed. Anyways it was about these female only demon knights that were part of a order to fight these demons.

The female knight were only female because females were the only ones that could handle being half demon half human. Also when they used there demon powers they had a chance of going completely demon in which case another female knight would be tasked out to kill them.

Anyways i really liked that show and if it wasn't really a good show please dot criticize me as my taste in anime is different then the regular anime watcher. If yall can recommend me one ill start watching asap thanks for your time and help.

And There really isn't anything like Claymore. Maybe Berserker from what I hear.

Medieval though... Spice and wolf, Maou yuusha and Shingeki no Kyogen come in mind. I'd recommend Shingeki because I straight up love that anime right now.

Kingdom is during the Warring States period of China. I'm really into it, always loved chinese history. (I blame you Dynasty Warriors!)

Not exactly medieval, but it is primarily based on war. Lots of action.
