Default Games you WOULD enjoy that have a few fatal flaws that ruin it for you?

    For me... Maple Story

Besides the fact that it's not well managed, there are three things in the game that just ruin it for me.

    1. No actual block system for spammers or harassers. You can stop them from whispering you and knowing what channel you're on...but if they spam or harass you and others on pretty much any other way then it'll still show up on your screen.
And this community isn't exactly known for being civil.

    2. Fame system. I see what they were trying to do but it just doesn't work. At least from what I've seen. Too much scamming and defaming people just to be jerks.

    3. You have to pay real money to use a stall and there's no auction house either. In a game where scammers love to abuse the trade window system you'd think they'd just let us set up stalls for free.

    So how about you guys?
What are some games that would be much better if they didn't have systems in them that seem to ruin things?

Vindictus, the fatal flaw being Nexon in general.

Guild Wars 2: More skills in general. Both per class, and per weapon. Cross-class skills would be nice too.
    SWTOR: Boring gameplay.
    Firefall: Need more RPG elements.
    Aion: Boring combat.
    Dragon's Prophet: Needs graphic improvement.
    Etc. etc. >_>"

RF Online: OP weapons on startup, too old to start anymore
Lineage II: newer chronicles screwed up the systems I enjoyed so much that I don't feel like playing it as much as I used to anymore

Zu online, loved the graphics, the grind was bearable, hell I'd even endure IGG's cash shop, but the god damn lag - never under 500ms. If I recall correctly they are US based, but I've always had 140ms on east-side servers, and around 200 on west side.

Dragon Nest - guild drama, Nexon, Nexon...
Guild Wars 2 - no eSports scene after release, copyright policy, exploits, lack of prize money
League of Legends - the Human race, my stupidity

They actually confirmed that we will be getting new skills as the new form of progression beyond Ascended gear starting this year. They have not given a date yet beyond this year, but I'm personally expecting it will be part of the Anniversary update.

Runescape was great back in the day. Some changes such as restricting trade, PvP, and lack of bot control killed it.

For me it was League of Legends and Lost Saga.

Customer Support ruined it for me and LoL. As for Lost Saga, it was the lack of updates at first and the compensation packages they handed out for people that played before. Even though they didn't have to compensate us, I still think they should have given us something better instead of limiting our options.

Just about all MMOs on the market.

Somebody needs to figure out that questing and grinding is becomming of old age.

Wizardry Online with the fatal flaws being the control system and overall repetitiveness.

You can always find something. Nothing is perfect. If you stop playing a mmo because its has a few flaws. You might think of finding another hobby. Since else you will be game hopping all day every day.

That's so incredibly wrong that I don't even know what you're talking about.

    I run a first generation i7, 2.67GHz, I get 60fps on high/maxed

Even on a laptop with a shitty old xenon, I get above 30 fps on high.

Tera- Questing to get to max lv, questing at max lv. The end game community.
    Rohan: The company ofc.
Trickster- I prefered the older version without those story quest you had to do to unlock.
GuildWars2- Combat system feels wrong, i want something like vindictus/dragon nest. Too few skills but it will apparently get solved soon

Wakfu, if not for how stats worked.

MapleStory, if they hadn't destroyed it with the CS

Glitch, if it hadn't closed down.

Guild Wars 2, if it didn't kind feel you were just "joining the horde" all the time.

The Secret World, if it had a better battle system.

LaTale, if not for the clunky control.

DCUO - Has a bunch of problems, but the most annoying is the in-game cash cap at 1500(F2P) and 2000(Premium). SUCH.BULL****.

I don't think it is really that wrong to say so. My own computer, which isn't all that great but still should be enough can't get over 30 fps most of the places. AMD Phenox II X6 T1055 @ 3.5GHz + radeon hd 5870. My friends computer had problems at some places dropping fps under 20 with i5 k3570 being over clocked with radeon 7k series.

I agree this problem, that apparently has existed for years, makes the game completely unplayable for MAJORITY of people.

This.. easily the worst optimized game I've ever seen and I'm hanging for some kind of optimization patch one day seeing I'm still active in Tera.

Cloudnine - Have had a major pvp arena freeze issue for 4 years now! 4 whole years and all I heard over those 4 years were broken promises of fixes and its just been totally been neglected...

Mortal Online, Amazing game, but criminal system, if you pk 5 people, you become a criminal for 8 INGAME HOURS, YOU CANT DO ANYTHING FOR 8 HOURS... INGAME without being killed by guards or other players, wtf...... and the fact that you can steal items from other players is just awful. Lost so much money when i used to play.

Yes, i7 is pretty much what you need as a minimum.

Here is what they sport for system requirements : https://tera-support.enmasse.com/app...m-requirements

Pentium 4, 3.2ghz or intel core duo as recommended, if you gonna try to play the game with that i will gaurentee you will be running 1 fps at all times.

And the "best of the best cpu" was a bit overly exaggerated off course, but unless you run an i5/i7 (i know these are common these days and fairly cheap) you aren't gonna get anywhere near 30+ fps in crowded area's or pvp for that matter.

Friend of mine went from an old amd cpu to a pretty new I7, his fps went from 5 to 60. He is using the same gpu in both cases.
If that doesn't prove tera is 90 % cpu based then i don't know what does.

I run a Q6600 myself with a 650ti boost, and I can't play that game properly at all.
