Looking for Talent, Artists, 3D Modelers, Animators, JS and C Script writers, Unity 3D Engine
My name is Tony Black I’m with Serendipity-Games, a recently formed gaming company. We are developing a RPG and /or MMORPG game that revolves around the Doctor Who universe and TV series (past and present). This game has been on my mind for many years, and has just until recently has started to come alive in 3dsMax, Unity, Adobe and other great tools. Although I’ve been trained and schooled in computer science and some of these great tools, a undertaking of this magnitude will take ages and more spare time than I have to give. I am seeking talented artists, modelers, animators, script writers, and more. We plan to take a demo to BBC to get authorization and support for the game. I really feel MMORPG would be the best solution.
If you feel you have some talent or can contribute feel free to head over to www.serendipity-games.com and leave a comment within the forum topic “Time Lords Talent”. All work done by you or other parties are yours until game is launched and we have agreed upon compensation or percentage.
We also plan to put a package together for a few self-publishing ventures such as Steams Greenlight , Indie DB, Kickstarter and more.
The Game
Times Lords a mmorpg/rpg is set in the great time war of which the time lords from Gallifrey are heavily involved. The player(s) start as a cadet for the Time Lords. The player will travel in time and space to new worlds, and if coarse Time. Past, present and future events effect the time war but also they must stop the evil doers from disrupting the time streams of the Universe. Game will play, look and feel similar to SWTOR(Star Wars the Old Republic), LOTRO(Lord of The Rings) and other similar MMO’s. Combat system must be unique. We look at a few different styles, but really want to go with a tierd skill base, but limit action buttons to 4-6. This will accommodate the Xbox and PlayStation type controllers. We would like to port the game to all platforms that can use a controller, although personally I sole prefer a mouse and keyboard, we must try to accommodate the new consoles coming out. There is a huge missed market when MMO’s go strictly PC. This is up in the air and open for debate.
