Neverwinter

Anyone playing it? Downloaded it last night and just got my Dwarf Guardian up to level 9. Wont be playing it more than once or twice a week but seems like it should be a pretty solid game. However, I know of more than a few people that have left the game, but I'm not entirely sure why. I know one left due to some issue with an exploit in teh game that resulted in him being punished. And I think another guy left because of the cash shop (is it p2w?).

you have 2 choices to get the required gearscore to run the high end-game dungeons

1) you can spend millions or even billions of in-game gold to enhance/socket your gear
2) you can spend cash shop items to succeed all enchants/sockets in 1 go

reason I say millions or billions of in-game gold is because the best sockets have 1% chance of success~
bear in mind that there are many alternatives to acquiring cash shop currency, but in this day and age, ain't nobody got time for that~

that, and last time I played, PvP was a bit imbalanced...as well as slow release of new content. PW promised a new class, new race, and new instance/content with official release. So far they only released the new instance/content afaik.

the game also gets pretty grindy for end-game gear fast...dungeons have no variety~ and some bosses are either too hard or too easy.

Yeah, PWE is one of those publishers that are more focused on money than quality content.
