life skills
-Trading
-Lumberjack
-Hunting
the npcs that you hire are for your business I believe. So say if you have a farm, you hire workers. If you open a shop, you hire employees~ etc etc. Based on the combo of npcs you hire, you can increase their friendship/loyalty level towards you.
trading seems to work a bit like Silkroad Online. You go to a NPC and buy a certain number of goods to put into your cart. Then you travel to other towns/regions and sell for profit.
edit: the bit in the beginning where it looks like a huge list of characters/monsters is just a database of some sort it seems. There are no interactions or anything~ I think it's like an codex - where meeting new monsters/npcs will unlock their database in it.
edit2: okay that hiring part may be a bit off. The npcs in town have relationships with other npcs in the town/region. They can be in a feud, argument, romantic interest, business partners, etc, etc....if you want to increase your loyalty/friendship with a certain npc, you need to cater to their interests by befriending people that they show favor towards. I think this is also how you settle certain dispute-related quests as well.
edit3: quests can vary anywhere from fetching a cat stuck on a roof for a little kid, delivering a cart of goods to a certain location, finding and bringing back a stray sheep, etc etc etc...
edit4: the map part at the end is nothing like Skyrim. The points and icons shown represent not just areas you've explored, but also lands/places you own. You can also invest money into a land or a place - and then later on maybe that investment will give you profits because the land/place you invested in rose in value. You can also, if you own a farm, upgrade your land with more workers and stuff.
man this game is like all the life skills that Mabinogi lacks combined with Vindictus-style combat....and open world to boot.
Reputation: 18is there a site or something?
Reputation: 52I'm looking forward to this game.
I don't think I'd main this game as an mmo.
But it looks like I'd be a fun game to randomly pick up play when I feel like having some crazy fun.

This literally looks like a slightly more complicated version of Tera, but with more circles.
Nothing to see here, just another korean game ready to flop ._.
