Playing Elsword, got to level 21 right now. A bit repetitive but love the SSB style gameplay.
Just wondering, what's at the end of the grind? What is in store for me if I spend these endless hours completing missions?

Reputation: 10From what I read there is quite a bit to do such as very hard missions and getting super good gear. I'm considering starting to play this game myself.
Reputation: 99I would play Elsword crazily nonstop with multiple characters if i could bypass the region block

you could try a vpn instead of a proxy.
Reputation: 99not a fan of wasting money for such a thing, i prefer using my cash on outfits so mabinogi makes me go fashionogi.. love games with lots of different clothing. :3
I would endure the grind for the PvP. I've been slowly (read VERY SLOWLY) been working my way up the ladder over the years but still only in the upper 30s on Rena.
But the times I've played on GM accounts I've been blown away by how smooth the game plays when you have some attack speed boosting gear and a wide array of skills at your disposal.

Unless they remove the reduced damage on knocked down enemies PvE or PvP, there's no real reason to play again considering thats one of the stupidest mechanics I've ever seen implemented, considering most of the skills are knockbacks/knockdowns.
Reputation: 52That's your opinion man, if I could constantly damage at a same rate after knocking down. PvP would be stupid,I wouldn't even play Elsword.
You'd essentially be able to kill someone in one combo. Even in fighting games (MvC3 for example), you can only OTG (Off the ground launch) once. Plus it reduced damage.
PvP this way takes more skill, Flinching is flipp'n hard in PvP. You also rarely use skills in pvp, meh. Per pvp match at rank S, I only use about 4 skills a match, and that's if the opponent is good...
They could have pulled a Dragon Saga, add heal and make every main class skill Knock off ground = 1 shot kills (Dem Ninjas)
PvE is alittle more annoying, but all the same to me. I don't really have to pay attention in PVE tbh, flinching in PvE is second nature after awhile. The AIs are simple too.
On topic, Run dungeons (till stat runs out) for gear - most likely Hamel, PVP the rest of the time.
