TERA Level Up Event Free Level 58

Here are the guidelines on getting your level 58:

• New characters created between Thursday, September 19 at 10 a.m. PST and Sunday, September 22 at 11:59 p.m. PST will be eligible for this event.

• You must create a race and class of your choosing and assign a name ending in ".Levelup"

-Correct: Treeshark.Levelup, Tocker.Levelup, Goose.Levelup, Duck.Chicken.Levelup
-Incorrect: Levelup.hammer, Level.Up.Me, Please.Levelup.Mychar, Treeshark.Lvlup
- Characters without “.Levelup” at the end will be ignored, so please double check your spelling and don't forget the dot!

• We will only allow one free level up per household for new accounts.
• For accounts that existed before 9/19/2013 at 10:00 am Pacific time, we will allow one eligible ".Levelup" character per game account.

- If you try and make multiple characters on your account or on multiple accounts, only the first created will become level 58.
- For existing players, one eligible ".Levelup" character should accomodate those with existing multi-player households.

okay....free level up~ but what about gear? will they give you basic 58 gear to start off? or will you have to farm/buy from auction house?

Thanks a ton for the heads up. I was always too lazy to level up in the game.. I made a Female Human Sorcerer. xD -- I have a Founder account which luckily, on my part. Will the characters be leveled up on the 22nd, or soon after? :P

Name 1 game that has died after an event like this. That's right.. None of them have died. It seems like a desperate attempt, but its mainly just an event to bring in lots of new players that may not have wanted to try the game at first because they didn't want to put in a lot of time to level a character up. Many people end up sticking to the game after having their character leveled up, because they can go directly to the fun stuff.

Dragon Nest had it in every version (except SEA), Vindictus had it, C9 had it (KR had a lv 50 event while Global had a lv 20 event), MU had it, Cabal had it, and I'm sure numerous other games had it. All of those games are still alive and popular.

PS: TERA NA is still pretty popular. The level up event is just a nice bonus. It helps that the game has a pretty boring/monotonous leveling process (which makes level up event even more awesome).

I always love level up events like this but getting to max lvl in Tera is pretty easy if you know what your doing, but still it's nice they do this for newbies.

T11 gear is useless at this level tho.. I really don't know why they didn't provide a T14 (abyss) atleast so they have something to use for a while until they can earn better gear like regent etc.

I like the idea but eh it could be better..

To me, personally, this just proves how badly TERA has been doing lately.
One has to be really desperate to encourage players of skipping most of the content by leveling from Level 1 to 58 in a second.

you can have more characters if you have older accounts , the new ones that you make now can only have 1 per IP so if you have older accounts made you can have one per account on one IP

I always wanted to try Lancer/Zerker at 60 but was too lazy to level xD

Guess i'll make the char and wait till they level it.

You could have totally gotten to level 41. At Level 40 you get a nice CS quest along side the normal Daily. If you win only one CS match you get 2 million XP, 100g, etc + whatever the daily amount is.

This event is just going to cause an influx of noobs who have no idea what they're doing and causing the community to be even more split than it is now.

I expect all the fresh 60s to quit within 2 weeks of playing.

They get sent via mail, you can see he has the mail icon there, must be the gear.

Please, the only classes that really involve thinking are Lancer & Warrior. There will be an influx of those two, but it doesn't really take that long to master a Lancer. Plus, we already have plenty of people who don't know how to play their characters in the first place because En Masse has made it so easy to run through the story line to the end content. Don't believe me? Play a couple rounds of CS. Every once in a while I'll be put on a team where everyone knows what to do. Most of the time no one knows how to play at all. We'll lose a lot of the noobs, but not because of your reasons, because they didn't want to play to begin with and we're just giving them incentive to play for a small amount of time.

My advice is to buy up all the Extensive Alkahest that are going to go on sell and wait a month or two for the prices to spike. That's what I'm going to do and you'll be able to call me the Pillsbury Doughboy because I make that bread.

You just listed two classes that requires the least amount of thinking to play. Shows how much you know about the game.

Anyone know what armor that is at the 1:55 mark, and also what the Aman female version looks like?

Trying to decide between the two as they seem to have the better armor for not looking like a walking "STAB ME" sign.
