MMO's, similar to this anime...

So after watching Sword Art Online (such a awesome anime), I have a sudden urge to play a new MMO game.
Any MMO games similar to this anime, cool anime style graphic's, big boss fights, a fun pvp system. I dont mind pay2win games, If its worth the money.

closest game I get to the feeling of Sword art is wizardry online. but pop is low and very spread out.
and there's 2-3 topics about a game for this anime already.

Just to throw this out there because as I've said before in another thread, there was literally no need for you to compare it to an anime.
First off, the fact that you're talking about a game similar, there are plenty excluding the fact that it's VR and even more if you take our the "anime-style" part. Don't get me wrong, the anime was great TO AN EXTENT. But .hack had the original idea of sword art. Think about the anime long and hard and tell me that it had a lot of features that weren't used before. You can't. Yes, I'm mad(again). I'm so tired of these god damn fanboys. Like, why couldn't you say "Any MMO games similar to this anime, cool anime style graphic's, big boss fights, a fun pvp system. I dont mind pay2win games, If its worth the money." and only this? Why did SAO have to be brought up? It's like me asking for a three dimensional maplestory lookalike with a different combat system and characters. WHY am I comparing it to maplestory? There's no reason to, just freaking use descriptions.

World of Warcraft is a good MMO. And... Regarding SAO being romantic I believe someone here said that more people meet in WoW and get married after than from any matchmaking website.

I'm in talks with some indie developers this week who are building one. Code Named SAO Project. Looks promising if they stick with it but I don't see anything like this ever hitting the mainstream market. Forever niche.

there was a time that Kirito without any x's joined my guild in Gw2 ... we called him the godly child ... because he managed to get the name kirito first on gw2 desolation server ! ... then we went on to nag him where he left Asuna ... the dude was really awesome he used to reply funny and we used to chat shizzle

i haven't been on maplestory since the whole SAO phase but i will bet you that game is just swarming with "kiritos"

If you guys really want a game similar to SAO. I never watched the anime. Except for some clips here and there. The closest Thing I've found was Aura kingdom. Which in the east end is Called Fantasy Frontier. The game isn't out In the USA or Canada yet.

It's not much but it shows a bit of the combat game-play. Overall It looks like a Tales game. I'm surprised no one mentioned this game yet. I spend way too much time on the internet. xD
