i see a lot of people go sorcery(that's who has the minions right?) my first char is ice and i think i am gonna go tank. 2nd will be nature but i haven't decided if i want to go full healing yet.

Did they ever it change it so that ice no longer has the go into the transformation hiding all customization to tank effectively?

I remember that killing the game for me.

The devs have stated that Sorcery and Nature are getting a revamp eventually since they are considered UP, hopefully before the next power. As it is right now there's no point in making a Sorc or Nature healer since Celestial is way OP.

No, I haven't tanked before. But I know that Ice tanks are usually in that form while tanking. Maybe you could Ice dps or change to fire.
That form only last 12 seconds though (I think), so I don't see the huge problem there.

In general, Celestial does everything better. They dps like devils and heal like angels.

If something came running at me, I'd scatter. If something was flying at me, I'd dodge roll out of the block.

except it happens even if I just walk by them, movement mode turned off
or even if I'm just standing there, and they walk up, then they scream and start running (in the same direction they were going)

it's fine when I'm in a combat zone: the result is that they're running all the time, as they should be. but if I'm in a quiet part of the city, it's a pretty big immersion breaker


Also apparently "Mike Steele" is an invalid name. Not a taken one, but an invalid one. What the heck does that even mean?

so i am on PC and constantly in what i assume is world chat i see people asking for trolls and healers. what is a troll and are healers really that in demand?

I just got my "troller" (hero aligned, named "Kae D") to lv 10
I was going to make a sorcery guy, but now I'm not so sure, seeing as it's apparently UP

i think you can have one power then 2 weapon skills. so like you could have fire and then staff and rifle or fire and hand blasts and dual wield.

What do minions look like ?

Also, can you mix and match your Powers and Weapon skills ?
Like in CoH, where you get more power variety. Or if you pick Fire, you only have Fire powers.

Feat Points = Skill points = Weapon skills.
You can get over 100 skill points, and there's 8ish weapon skills in each weapon tree. So, you'll likely get about 5 weapons maxed out.
Power variety, hmm under each power there are 2 trees, but essentially what you're looking at fire is fire. but they do different things.
So Quantum = Time and space. Fire = Ignition and Immolation (didn't find this out till today)
Time = more controller esque, stuns and fast acting combos.
Space = more Burst dps with skill chains and aoes.
