i have like 100 jars of green beans. and enough potato for next summer. only thing need to buy is meat lol. my family went up get some apples so we have over 100 jar apple sauce homemade. problem with american is we have american keep buying junk food with food stamps. there food stamps should be going for can goods.

I dunno how it is in the USA, but how much space does your average poor person get in their backyard.
I'm not poor but I share a pretty small backyard (as long as the building and large of 2 meters ?)with 7 other families, living in a appartment block and all.

Oh dear another self entitled brat *****ing about something he knows nothing about. Most poor people live in apartments most of which don't have backyards hell I was middle class and I grew up in a townhouse apartment and we still didn't have a backyard go figure. It's not that simple also last time I checked you can't grow meat or own live stock in most cities.
