Default Any decent Anime MMOs going strong?

I really need an Anime MMORPG fix,
like that Rose Online nostalgia is kicking me so hard in the ass right now.

Had my shot at FF14 (Would really love to play but so displeased at DPS balancing. DRG practically overshadowed by everyone.)
Been on Terraria ALOT (but close to finishing and it's one of those games that you never touch after your done.)
League of Legends (Stopping my ELO from decaying every now and then..)

But really would like an Anime MMORPG point and click, hack and slash, not the most cash shop dominated thing in the world.

Please refrain from Eden Eternal or Dragon Nest, the former was great but it sucks now, and both need to fix the cash shop.

There's Hero of Obelisk, but close beta just ended. Maybe you can keep an eye on it and see what happens. You can also sign up for Aura Kingdom. Don't know when that'll get released, but it's something.

Anime inspired mmo's have been in a major decline for a while now but there are a few to keep an eye out for over the coming months.

    - Asda is dead / Asda2 has had major issues lately and their major GM who is close to the community is leaving so the community might get even smaller.

    - Cloudnine is alive and kicking, but most the community is spanish speaking now thanks to a merger a few years back and most of the english community leaving.

    - Legend of edda as said before me, major grind and probably not worth your time.

    - Iris Online has a popular private server which you can find via google but yeah the official server died long ago.

    - Eden Eternal is doing pretty well still after a few years in service and something worth checking out.

    - Spirit Tales is still going and I have no idea if it's going strong or just holding on.. Not a bad game just p2w.

    - Dragon Nest is still going strong too just depends if you don't mind running dungeons over and over.

    - Ether Saga is alive still but the community is getting smaller and smaller (Major p2w)

    - Flyff.. Don't need to say much here, still going strong and probably won't stop anytime soon.

    - Latale is doing well I think seeing they had a major update not long ago, I can't play it due to lag but worth checking out if you can.

    - Remnant Knights is still going, great GM's and decent community BUT pretty dry game and annoying pk is a turn off for some.

    - Maplestory.. Still going.

    - Ragnarok is awesome and worth playing lol.

    Ones to look out for.

    - Lime Odyssey once it comes out.

    - Aura Kingdom once it comes out.

You also have Hero of Obelisk, Heva Clonia and Onigiri.. Not that interested in these 3 but they might catch your fancy

    Good luck.

westerns are not asians (something that asians apparently have trouble understanding) and anime MMOs invariably fall flat on its face here, again and again

    just dont bother with them
I do agree with you there but it's not always the case for certain anime inspired games.

You can't go wrong with x-legend games seeing they have a good track record especially under Aeria.. Sure Kitsu saga didn't last long but what did they expect it was pretty much a clone of Grand Fantasia.

I'm pretty sure Lime and Aura will be around for a while so don't hesitate to try them out.

As for the other ones yeah it's a risk playing them but it doesn't hurt wasting some time on them.
