Only MMORPGs that are really proud of their unique gameplay with publish official gameplay trailers, that is true. The presence of a non-gameplay trailer isn't enough indication, though as it could be released additionally to a gameplay trailer.

You make a good point. NeoJaz should of stated that generic MMORPGs release a full CGI pre-launch trailer while neglecting to release any trailers that represent actual gameplay.

World Of Warcraft ... it became generic MMO in a long run but what would you expect from a game that is running for such a long time now... yet it had a awesome CG trailer and was titled as Unique back in the day ... with millions of players playing it world wide.



Guild Wars 1 was an Unique game introducing many PvP aspects and played for years with HUGE maps and challenging dungeons ... yet it had a nice cg trailer:
