build my gaming pc £700 budget

Hi all, I'm building a new desktop gaming rig on a tight budget. Absolute max to spend is £700 and that MUST include the OS, I also really don't want windows 8.

I dont need: monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, headphones or any other peripherals. Just the tower.

Ideally I would like mid to high range performance, obviously not top extreme.

I'm thinking about NVIDIA 660gtx card and possibly an Asus mobo. I'm not keen on amd, unless you recommend It. I'm thinking around 8gig ram, can add more later and a 1tb hd will be enough for me. I'm not interested in i7 as I don't think its worth it plus its a cost thing, can I afford i5 on my budget though? Finally the case can be cheap, I don't think I will have prob with heating.

Also I'd like to use overclockers.co.uk for convenience, unless anyone has better suggestions.

www.choosemypc.net is way more reliable than what ever crap sevn posted haha. It will make you choose the country you are from then it asks if you want to overclock blah blah and it gives you a build and the reason why it chose it, it recommends for a tight 700 euro budget that you get a amd build basically but go look at it your self and you can add windows 7 in because it adds windows 8 or you can wait on snowbunzz to help you C:
