Yeah, you've more or less lost everything since expansions are tied to specific accounts. If it really wasn't you who got yourself banned you should try contacting blizzard support, it's not too hard to get back your account. Worst case scenario you just buy the battlechest through the starter account for like 10 bucks and it includes everything except for MoP.
