So just noticed that theres a teaser website for the new RED update for maplestory which includes a new class "Zero" and the updates to all the explorers classes

Revamped Explorers

The five original Explorer jobs (Warrior, Magician, Bowman, Thief, and Pirate) are being revamped, with new skills, new quests, a new tutorial, and more! Explorers also get the option to change to a different branch of their main job after their 4th advancement. And now that Dual Blades and Cannoneers are now classified as normal Explorers, they share Cash Shop inventories with the rest of the Explorers.

Dawnveil: Commerci

Explore a new region of Dawnveil - Commerci, the trade republic! Commerci features a dynamic day/night cycle where you can meet different monsters and find different crafting materials at different times. We're also rolling out a trade system where you can take part in sea battles against boss monsters and get items to make brand-new Lv. 160 equipment! Upgrade your Lv. 140 Empress and Lv. 150 Fafnir equipment to the new Lv. 160 equipment and carry over the potential rank and enhancements!

Profession System Update

New Craftsman and Meister ranks have been added to professions. Take your profession to the next level, and you will be able to craft special kinds of Miracle Cubes! Meister rank can also increase your chances of creating items with high rank stats. And the days of picking between Mining and Herbalism are over; now you can learn both. We've also updated some items' crafting ingredients, added the ability to warp to Ardentmill from the Profession Window, and changed up the items you can buy from Ardentmill's merchants.

Ill be playing for sure after this update lmk if anyone else will possibly could get a group of people to play with

I play daily on GAZED but the game is so unstable and this patch is overhyped and the Unleashed update killed the game. Buffed up bosses making the game even more NX based for example.

eh idc lol what mmo is actually worth playing, pretty much every game is crap and not worth playing or spending any time on it. But maplestory actually has fun action and enjoyable

What do u do on every other game tho lol CLICK BUTTONS OMG, and all the action mmos are boring and repetitive. Man i played L2 sense beta and pretty much at end game depending on the class you have 3-4 skills that are even worth using.

lol whenever a new class comes out it makes all other classes obsolete weren't the cygnus knights "updated" recently? aren't they obsolete again? maplestory has a formula. they release a new class maybe two and they are op as shit. everyone makes one and buys fashion/beauty coupons/boxes to make perfect items then the next updates comes and they are nerfed but everyone already spent money so nexon won again. it's a "winning" formula for nexon literally only for nexon

yea i know that but not every game releases a class as much as Maplestory does and they are all pretty cool if i do say so myself, balancing isnt as easy as you think either.

I just play to have fun balancing doesnt really mean anything to me sense the game really doesnt have good pvp. Plus at least there trying to keep updating and balancing all the new classes to keep up with the new ones that came out.

It doesn't seem like I can get the RED teaser anymore after closing it so I'm wondering, did it provide any ETA on the update?

I was turned down by the people in the maplestory forums when I wanted to play again!
They were like, "Yo man you picked the WORST time to start again" blah blah blah "It's gotten really bad now" yada yada yada...
I don't know.. I still want to play though! What do you think invadertim? Should I pick this back up and start a new character? ^_^

Idk ive browsed nexon game forums i really dont like any of them tbh dragon nest, dungeon fighter, maplestory or vindictus

I didn't say it wasn't worth playing I play it daily but the stability of the game is annoying and it has been that way for some time now. Also they have slowed down on new classes in recent times Zero was the last one added in KMS.

Zero looks...uhh really fast, compared to every other class haha.

At later levels yes but at the start it is pretty boring and slow.
