Everything that has properties aligned with the space-time continuum does not exceed the speed of light.
There are some questions about a theoretical transmition of information faster than the speed of light in quantum dynamics. This must not be confused with mass or energy traveling faster than the speed of light. Basically as Energy and speed are connected, for a stable universe to exist, the speed of light must be a constant, that can not be exceeded. Otherwise, Energy would be permanently spawned from nothing and there would be no solid matter in the universe.
The idea of letting mass travel through time or warp around (on a scale that exceeds the size of atoms) to our current understanding does not work. Science goes from the phenomenon to the theory to the method of observance. You don't just dream up stuff. This approach has no merit. That the universe works does grant us very close certainty to knowledge that time travel wont work. That sciency fluff talk about contrary speculations is tabloid fodder for people who wouldn't know that.
