Let me start by saying...if you had to go do Expert Coli from 150-200...Then you are in for a surprise ...They added a new map for lvl 197-200 and also an instance for lvl 160-200...i will be taking this game a bit more serious now..

The controls still feel like crap in the game though. Would've preferred this any day over Maplestory but it feels like LaTale movement controls are very rough and unrefined compared to Maplestory.

That's how i always feel too. I really want to enjoy it, what with the character customization and the art style but movement(and sometimes combat) just feel wonky at times and takes away from the experience.

that's because playing with more than 60ping is not optimal, because everything is server-sided.
when aeria still had their version, it was like a whole different game.

No, runescape is just isometric, its still entirely 3d, 2.5d would be more like

I'd also argue that both Latale and maplestory are 2.5d

I can't play this game, and since I love cutesy anime stuff like this that depresses me.
Specifically since it's server side I lag a little and in a game like this if you lag at all you can't control your character.

One of those games I really wanted to play because I like the style of the game much more than Maple but the server side lag is just annoying with a 200 ping

But good to see more content coming out

the game is fun but the grind really starts hard past level 80 and it's another mmo with one of the worst economies.

I think ''isometric vew'' is the official phrase for 2.5 d. Since youre still stuck to a fixed camera angle like 2D, but it still has 3D character models.

Anyways.. I havent played La Tale in years. Good to see it still going.

Naw, Isometric is like Diablo 1/2 or Habbo Hotel or something, Ragnarok Online would be 2.5D since it places 2D sprites amongst 3D terrain. Either way, Latale is neither. Just a 2D sidescroller with good art.

It's still around? I remember not being able to play because my graphics card was too slow And when I could play its hackshield didn't like my keyboard drivers so I never got a chance.

I have the worse graphics card(integrated) and i can run this game with no lag,Believe me its worth a shot to start playing again.

I really liked the game when I first started, but I ended up quitting due to the economy. Game felt like it was a constant farm for ely/grind all day after awhile. Too much of a disconnect between the rich and poor. Is it still like that?
