Reputation: 10i ate bagged spinach a couple weeks ago....
Reputation: 10meh don't worry you would already be sick or cured by now if it had E coli.
Don't eat raw spinach. When cooked it's perfectly safe, all of the bacteria will be dead.
Reputation: 26if you hot water it won't help you gotta boil it on high tempatures for atleast 10 minutes but since its spinach boiling it that long would make it liquidish

Of course not, but I will have one hell of a week if I have a urinary tract infection.
Reputation: 26if the resturant uses fresh spinach instead of bagged it might be ok
Spinach wanted to prove once and for all that no one should eat it, and that it doesn't make you temporarily stronger...

Reputation: 26In the end the message is BAGGED SPINACH IS INFECTED WITH ECOLI BACTERIA DON"T EAT IT THE COMPANY FRESH EXPRESS IS RECALLING ALL BAGGED SPINACH
Kinda old news but still it's news. The e coli bacteria got into the water stream of some company in California. That company happens to sell spinach to a crap load of companies, hence the recall. I think 1 or two people died so far.
Yes, the mean Escherichia coli O157:H7. >![]()
We all have a little E. Coli in us though. A nice strain of E. Coli lives in our intestines and helps with digestion! :3

you see, giving itself ecoli was an evolutionary response to stop people eating spinach, but everyone knows spinach tastes like crap so why the heck would you want to eat it anyways.
you americans are weird. you should eat nice things like stuffed sheeps stomachs and coagulated pigs blood like we do in britain.
