posting baby pictures on facebook
does anyone else get kind of uneasy over this? two of my friends recently had kids and they've been posting mad pictures of them all over facebook. that just seems so weird to me. your kid is having his life documented for the whole world to see before he's conscious enough to understand it.
do you guys think parents maybe shouldn't do that to their kids? or am i just paranoid

Parents treat their babies like their pets. They see their babies/pets as their cute and adorable plaything just to show off to the world. Once their baby gets old enough to not be cute anymore, all of that showing off stop.

Ugh all my friends are shooting out babies. My feed is flooded with new moms and their children. Just like any other hobby people get into, its super obnoxious. I at least had the common sense to make my obnoxious posting have its own Facebook page.
Not that I think parents should make their babies a Facebook page. Thats definitely not the solution. But it's closer than annoying the **** out of me witb your baby. Sounds heartless but when YOU turn into your child on the internet, I unfriend you. Your profile picture and all uploads and statuses are about your children, its no longer your profile.

i guess i would be kinda pissed off if i found out that a baby picture of me had gone viral. fortunately i'm old.
