Reputation: 64played some of this. Got matched with a dude with all gold players and 80+ rated strikers. All he had to do was run at my defense and he would out sprint them. That's it, Was hella funny
Reputation: 10I don't know how FIFA World works, 'cause it crashes when I try to run it. If it's just like Ultimate Team on console, you can get 80+ players easily, you just have to know what type of games you need to play so you don't get ***** every time when you have a bronze team. Play open matches (you can see the other player's star rating), avoid open tournaments, only play specific bronze tournaments, and plan to buy a specific squad, preferably a bronze squad (English bronze squad is always the easy way).
I've been playing FIFA Ultimate Team on console for the past 3 years, and I haven't spent a single € nor I plan to spend any, and I've been able to afford several InForms through the years.
Reputation: 64Mmm...Maybe I did something wrong? I was playing the online season mode. got promote from league 9? so I played about 9 games my first match in league 8 I got matched with someone who had 60+ games (w50 d2 l8). It's automatically finds your opponent, so you can have a 3 star rated team and get matched against a 4&1/2 star team.
It's not just that. The interface is god awful and slow. Say you have 3 players who run out of contract you have to manually select the contract and use it one at a time...
Reputation: 22What's the point.... this is just FIFA 11 on PC for free... **** sakes.. I already got FIFA 14 on console
until they fix the matchmaking if they havent done that yet ... they can suck it.
Some Stories Are Just Way Better In My Head!
Reputation: 15Thought it was really, really bad. People are saying that is because it's a beta.
But the interface is so very very awful. I play with a controller on a tv, and instead of just selecting tiles for modes etc, you now have a mouse which you control to click on tiles, with your controller. It takes ages to swap players, give contracts etc. The interface is also very laggy. I just dont know what they were thinking when they made that.

Reputation: 10Again, no one has told me if there's a market. If there's a trading market it's incredibly easy to get cheap gold players and go from there, to build up an entire squad of gold players.
Your UT progress resets every time you buy a new edition of FIFA, so the fact that I've been playing for 3 years doesn't mean anything. I've built up gold squads in a couple of days starting from scratch several times, but that's possible if there's a trading market. If you have to buy packs then yes, they most likely spent money, even though a couple of weeks is more than enough for some crazy people that play non-stop.
I'm telling you I'm just guessing though, I can't play FIFA World due to some weird error while loading. I doubt it's the same experience as it is on console.
The game has been in closed beta since around November (if I recall correctly). It's no surprise that some people may have very good teams already. I've played for a few days and have a team full of gold players without spending a penny, granted my players aren't very good. I've been playing the singleplayer seasons and earning coins that way.
