Never seen this many players come together to try to make a change.

Hopefully something happens though? Players should never have to go through this..

Oh man still remember what happen back to old runescape days..
Reputation: 882thats pretty awesome, i hope in the future these actions are beeing made more often to show these dumbass f2p publishers they cant **** around with their community as they please or we will halt their income
Hmm.. I don't know. Halt or lower their income and they'll shut down the game.. at least that's what they normally do.
Reputation: 882well in the case of the OP it seems people are getting hacked one after another so i dont think they really care at this point if the game gets shut down. either way shutting down games because the publishers dont listen to their customers will still kill the company eventually forcing them to listen.
Reputation: 21that's really awesome, but did MU online actually make any changes after this? Im not trying to be sarcastic i really want to know if this actually changed anything.
Reputation: 11Yeah definitely shutting down the game is by no means a way for the company to go "showed you guys!" A shut down of the game will make the company look very bad to potential backers and investors, not to mention it all the time and money invested into the game just goes up in flames. If they didn't steal enough money from players through their pay to win cash shops, well the company just lost tons of money.
I thought MU died a long time ago. Someone even cares to cry a river on forums for this crap? B!tch, please.
Solution: Throw your wooden PC to trash and buy something that can run games from this decade.

Reputation: 99Mu Online is actually one of the best games, dont be hating flamey :sexy:
coldwar look at the date closely on the post in their forums june 7th 2014 only been 4 days
even if webzen would listen it would take atleast more than a month for them to react![]()
Reputation: 490Botting and hacking are/were so bad in Age of Wushu, you'd get in-game protest nearly everyday during the first few months of the game (when people still thought Snail cared).
It's nice that people come together to try and make change, but I highly doubt Webzen will listen. Or that people will actually do the things they say they will. When it comes to hardcore players in MMOs, they're basically addicts. That's why P2W MMOs do so good. People will go to great length to be good at a game, and if that means shelling out hundreds of dollars (often money they can't really afford to spend, sadly), oh well. It'll take a great amount of willpower for people to stop spending money on the game :P
And even if they did manage to get enough people to stop so that Webzen does notice, I still doubt Webzen would even do anything. Perhaps they'd ban those trying to organize this for being disruptive or something. Or just shut down the game.
Reputation: 10Was there a GM in town when they did that? Or just for the YT video?
