Best F2P MMORPG NOW

Hi all i was just wondering since i cant find any good F2P MMORPG to play can u post ur exp on some games, i have tryed alo of them and every game is missing most important thing, COMUNITY which makes game sucks i know developers are not to blame but i was wondering which game has the best comunity and still good gameplay. Tera is nice, low comunity and lots pf ppls, Neverwinter is the same and all other game. Pls prove me wrong and tell me what to play. Tnx

Most free 2 play games have there pro and cons but from your question your more interested in a game that has a strong friendly community that focuses on group play?

If that is the case then its hard to suggest one as each game is what you make of it and unfortunately its been a trend the last 8 or so years to make MMO's more and more solo friendly removing that forced group play scenario that could end up with the player finding a bunch of good people to play the game with.

My suggestion is talk to real life friends find a game you all like and arrange gaming nights or join an online gaming community that arranges regular groups on games that appeal to you.

Personally got a few friends together last weekend and we are playing through Star wars knights of the old republic which in a group has been a blast, even did a few Flashpoints which was loads of fun.

Well every game i try i log in strat playing and soon i realize im alone and thats the bigest problem. Im prety sure i played Alldos and not sure bout him and far as Conan is as i heard is dead and i probably wont be able to run it cuz i have laptop. I know i probably am picky but after so many years of playing games i gues every game is the same. Tnx

I get the same feeling as well, especially since I play a variety of mmo's. If you are willing I probably suggest ffxiv since end game is pretty much a community thing. If you can find the right free company you're good to go.

I plan on playing archeage I got the beta key despite opinions being said on this forum about the game I think I might stay for a while on there and actually start up a guild for the game.

Yo, downloading TERA as we speak. Was going to give it a go later today or tomorrow. I mean it'll be my first time playing but I feel your pain. I remember playing runescape when it was actually a decent game and my favorite part was playing with friends. Anyway shoot me a message if your interested. But like I said, it'll be my first time playing.

I seriously suggest playing on a PVE Server to start if that's the case. As soon as you get to lumbertown (Basically the newbie town) in a PVP Server, everyone can kill you.

Tera: I Agree (lumbertown) its like campers don't really care, its true they don't. when its clear & hopefully now it is, you may be in a reasonable game.
Getting back to topic, a good game I'd recommend is Ragnarok online, its on steam worse luck but good luck for those that like steam. The groups are great once your good enough to get in. Guildwars 2 has a good overall experience as well as Lord of Rings & Fallen Earth.

Until Archeage is out, you won't really know what the community is going to be like in that game, at a guess having played the Russian version, we had loads of great gaming & community, so it should be on par to that, possibly.

One thing I must mention though is, if you don't ask you'll never get in. I'm not saying this is your case.
It is easy to forget the person who just come into your screen area and is fighting all the npc's alongside you and mashing them to smithereens, this maybe who you are looking for? but..for most times you see this person as a competitor & use it as a calling for your unknown vengeance and place down upon that being The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides with the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. In recent memory, the Asian Version of Wakfu had the best, most friendly English speaking community.

I sort of agree, Wakfu has the best community as it's similar to to the old mmos. Where you'd see some one and say "Party??" And friends right after that.

I think the best F2P MMO at the moment is Rift. In MMOs you will always have bad people in the community, for any game to get a good community you just need to seek out a good guild. Create your own communities instead of looking for a perfect one.

i enjoy tera - not sure about the community as they are all pretty high level now so you might have to solo level till 60/65 unless you find a guild or have friends playing

this is not really a excuse considering i know many people who are in your situation and still play more ... and don't complain ... i to got a full time job that takes 15 hours shifts sometimes and i do many other things on side ...

It wasn't an excuse, more of an explanation that people lead different lives...He said "Not everyone has Time to play all day". and you just stated that you even work 15 hour shifts...So with my situation and yours, Its not possible to play all day....I was just stating my schedule

Its just that some Freemium MMO's have better models then others I.E. SWTOR to Rift o.o

The main reason why rift isn't "Free to Play" is the whole mess with the auction house. If the auction house never existed in the first place (See Project: Gorgon) then we'd let it slide. There are MMORPGs that are actually "Free to Play," Including TERA, AION, and the heavily pay to win stuff X-Legend makes.
