In the 'religous' way, Death is just sleep, and than when you wake up, its resurcetion, was it? Who cares, anyway.. The 'NON-religous' way, death is a form of suffering everybody must go through unless your a mutant or whatever.

Death causes the complete seperation of spirit from body. That's my general view on what death is, not to get into what happens afterwards.

Death is the only fact that will be experienced by every single human being. It is the demolitioner of pleasures, the terminator of relationships, the separator of loved ones, the destroyer of tyrants, the end of mortal life, and the gateway to the hereafter. Anyone with remembrance of death would do well to prepare for what it brings afterwards. The being is humbled by knowing that an end will come. Naught will be injustice sowed in life, wealth accumulated for inheritors, fame built on the backs of others, and the hungry, uncontrolled, undisciplined drive for momentary gains and pleasures would be honed towards preserving justice and avoiding infringement on the rights of others.
For those who believe that death is the terminal ending of existence, life is transformed into a painful, darwinian struggle for power and wealth, surely to be attained be few. At from rock of malcontentment, despair, jealousy, strife, and crime spring to wretch the limited existence of one who views life as the one and only thing.

zOMG you guys are n00bs. Death is when you let your HP run out, either because you're a n00b and you suck, or because your mana is low and you're a n00b because you didn't take extra mana and life pots. and you can't use mana shield, or because you're aggro-ing, or because you didn't duck out of that bullet's way, or because you're out of hearts, cause like a n00b, you're thinking "hey, if I jump off the 100ft ledge just outside the Goron City and land on the Dodongo Cavern roof below, I can get that Heart Piece as a kid, even though the fall will take away all my hearts, instead of planting a seed and coming back 7 years later when that magic flower has bloomed!". That's what death is to me, anyway. Sorry about the non-serious response. Not much can be said that isn't repeating the other guys.

after you die, you become history...
nobody knows what happens after death...so this unknown creates fear, fear creates hate, hate creates evil...>>
religions tell us that there is an afterlife...which is a better place that's waiting for us if we work hard and be good in this life. Same with other afterlife theories, like "noosphere"...which is a place all human minds/spirits go to after leaving their physical body. If you believe there is an afterlife, it's less likely you will commit an evil.
But I'm not religious, nor deeply believe that there is an afterlife. Does that mean I'm a bad guy. No...hope not...>>
Humanity is constantly trying to find ways to achieve "immortality".
To me, I believe that's what life is about... finding ways to achieve "immortality"
I don't want to live forever even one day it becomes possible.
It's not so much about physically forever being alive as about passing on your wills/dreams/knowledge/wisdom...one generation to another...
so you will be forever remembered...whether in history or other's hearts

well immortality is a way of saying you want to be remembered for thousands of years to come, you want everyone to know your name. alot of crime was influenced by that, such as jack the ripper and capone. many people know these names becuz they have succeeded, although some want there names to represent glory such as achilis(forgive the spelling) and alexander the great they both wanted glory and immortality that it drove them to certain death... yet everyone remembers both their greatness and mistakes.
death is the end of life and if there is heaven or hell it is the begining of eternal life. either way it will end you but if you ave done something great either good or evil you will be remembered.
