I personally think that since the original game is LONG GONE this should not be considered a private server and more of another publish of it. I personally have so many awesome memories with this game and will def be playing this at launch today! Thank you so much for reminding me of it!

Do we download the game now or wait until the game is up? It doesn't mention (that I can find anyway) whether or not we need a new client once the beta is over.

It's played through a web browser so all you need to do is download the assets once you start it up. There won't be any new client since the beta is over and the current opening is the final one. If you look on their about page, they explain a lot of info about the server and how its going to be ran. I'll definitely be checking this out when I come home from work tonight.

Yes. Thanks for the reminder. This would be great news for the major sites like PCGamer, Onrpg, etc. Startled they haven't done anything, and sadly can't find a way to email them(at least PCGamer)

i think there is a queue? when i click play it says i have 4 hours left till i can play and i need to keep that tab open to save my place in line.

Yeah there updating the engine and server side stuff now, can expect the game to be available in 5 mins or so.

That is the playtime thing. It will be gone in a few minutes and you just run through launching. Also there is no browser thing like someone said. They said in the notes for the toonfest that you need to download the launcher and install all the files.

hmm i can get in apparently. it connects and sits on authenticating and then says the server is unavailable. maybe they took it down again?

how odd all the game servers are fine but the authentication server is down lol. so is there any threat of disney shutting this down?

There's always a threat when your using someone elses IP but they did remove all the disney characters from the game and there not taking donations or requiring a sub to play so there making 0 money off this.

Basically the chances of this shutting down is slim at best.
