The game, which made its Japanese debut in 2012, was tipped for a 2013 release in Europe and North America.

However, Sega had failed to provide any additional updates about the title, leading to speculation that a Western release had been canceled.
Responding to a fan on Twitter, Sega said: "PSO2 is still delayed. SEGA is currently working on bringing PSO2 to the West and will update as soon as we know more."
The free-to-play online role-playing game is currently available for the PC and Vita in Japan.
It features cross-platform gameplay and has been compared to table-top role-playing games of the past.

Still nothing, but since MH4u will have online it's really not that bad.
Especially since the new one in china needs to fix their hitboxes/animations, it's pretty whack.

SEGA-J probably just decided to not have a west/english server so they didn't have to have another PSU moment with SEGA-NA/EU.
Seriously they both made PSU fail on so many levels over here.
NA slow to fix problems, exploits, contact J devs for things out of their control, and slow to translate.
Then you had SEGA-J's hate ***** of having their own late replies/updates/fixes for the west side servers.
Quite literally the shit was stupid.
