This was my fav moba, for sure. sad to see it go, and the "YAY" on the title of this is pretty low for some one to say, being happy that a free to play game shut down isnt something i would be expressing.

I tried it out for half an hour, it wasnt bad but I just went back to LoL. Sucks for those who were working on it and for the fans who loved it.

It's a real shame honestly. The devs were really cool and I used to talk to them all the time on irc and hang with them just in general. I stopped playing the game after awhile because they never were able to optimize it for lower end pcs like League was. Real shame but shit happens.

It was a lot of fun and i feel had potential, but i suppose you can't keep something afloat if it's not earning back its costs.

Most people probably like more than one MOBA (or MMO) but prefer one or two over the rest. And those they prefer are the ones they probably support, if they support them they'll stay alive. So, unless you are buying something in all of those games, you aren't really doing them any favors by just hopping around.
In the end companies don't care if you like the genre as a whole, what's important for them is that you LIKE them, and more importantly, that you PREFER them over the rest, so you can focus your money on them and keep them alive.

Very true. i guess i never thought of it as a business stand point. so i guess my rant wasn't very valid. now in my defense i have actually dropped atleast 10 bucks on each just to give em a fair try. ive dropped more on dota and lol just because they are biggers games tho.

This is a surprise. The game had creative map-mechanics and was easy to carry in. I think it's very sad for the players that it shutsdown!
