    Default Ff xiv

Hey guys I was thinking about grabbing this game for ps4. For the people that have this game how is it? Worth buying? Is the pc version n the ps4 version the same? What is the most OP/Best class as of now? What is the level cap? Is there any expansions or anything comming out soon?

Console and PC play with one another.
I think it's a fun game. Also visually appealing and has a good soundtrack.
Currently no real OP class currently since they nerfed bard a bit. If you want an easy time leveling make your first combat class a tank or a healer, your dungeon ques will be super short.
First Xpac is coming in spring. A lot of new content, not all of which as been named so far. Likely 3 new combat jobs(one for each type) and possibly more, though no confirmation there. New dungeons, raids, primals, etc will be in it. Price tohugh is unknown. Likely $30 or so if I had to guess.

I'd say give the trial a shot if you're unsure.

Just try in the middle of the night, server locks are based on current players on the server, from what I noticed and heard.

They are. The problem is that generally, for EST, that translates to around 6-9 am is best for getting onto Balmung. My work schedule makes this incredibly tedious. It's not like I can't go without sleep for a night but it's still really annoying to have to go through this kind of hoop just to make a character. Would be far better if you could make the character and they just stick it in a Queue that rolled over every morning or something.
